PROJECTS GOAL

The main goal of the projects is ensuring supportive conditions for strengthening micro, small and medium-sized enterprises [MSME] in urban areas during the COVID-19 crisis, and now during the recession accelerated by War on Ukraine.

The Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova

The Solidarity Fund PL in Moldova was founded in 2013 based on a memorandum of understanding between the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction of the Republic of Moldova. The Fund’s main mission is to support local development and local democracy. Since 2016, the Fund has been supporting systemic solutions for local development: the LEADER approach / community-led local development and urban regeneration – following the local methodology that ensures local ownership and provides development impact through the proactive use of local resources. Currently, the Fund supports local economic development with two funds: EU-LEADER Rural Development Fund, EU-LEADER flagship initiatives – dedicated to SMEs in rural areas. The partner is highly qualified as an expert in local politics.
